CommScope Helps Monheim, Germany Build the Smart City of the Future

With 43,000 residents, Monheim is a small city with big ambitions. City leaders wanted to build a state-of-the-art smart city, so turned to CommScope. With the help of hundreds of our Ruckus indoor and outdoor wireless access points, Monheim became the first city in Germany with Wi-Fi blanketing the entire city with a network that supports smart lighting, smart parking and a “virtual city” app with information and services from 200 local retailers.
