CommScope Connects Fresno Police Department
Fresno Police Department (Fresno PD) covers a territory of approximately 115 square miles and serves 535,000 citizens. Fresno PD needed a Wi-Fi solution, especially in areas with no fiber, that could support 200 security cameras spread out across the city. They deployed a CommScope network consisting of Ruckus outdoor access points and the Ruckus ZoneDirector controller - using the mesh capabilities of the APs to provide the necessary backhaul.
